Marinez targets the engine and puts a full volley

It was easy to target the engine of imperial gunship, but it was not enough to destroy it. Ye-4 gunship (HP2/3 DPS3 DC15) turns towards the Vigilance Beacon and fires with full power, while the smoke is coming out behind it from the engine.

Bara moves the ship on his own away from the fire, taking the position in space to allow Marinez another use of turret.

This time Marine'z firing the imperial gunships sets it on fire. This heavy enemy ship is now in flames and flying towards the Vigilance Beacon, shooting and it, and with obvious intention to crash in Vigilance Beacon.

Barracudas dodges imperial gunship in space, flying close to it in front of Marinez turret's cockpit. Marinez could clearly see fuel coming out from all over the place around the engine of the imperial gunship. This is his chance to destroy the enemy.

Imperial gunship explodes in fire when Marinez fires the last attack. The crew has cleared the imperial danger in space and can now enter the atmosphere and land near the cave entrance on the planet Ilum, away from hot war zones. Welaho feels relief that the crew managed to pull this out without getting ship damaged. The scanners show imperial crafts and vehicles around the cave, which concerns Welaho if they arrived too late. There is no trace of republic on the surface, and the area seems to be conquered, however no visible imperial force is seen, only their stuff are here.

The Vigilance Beacon lands behind a huge ice rock and deep snow, perfect location for ship to not be spotted, along with the terrible snow winds that cloud the sight. Here the ship will be safe to the end of the mission. But from here, crew must proceed on foot. It is for the captain to decide who and how many will join her on the mission.

Axo suits up and looks through the window at the ice weather outside, before he places his helmet on which changes his voice a bit: "It's sure cold out there, I wonder how deep is the snow." Axo grabs two kolto bombs and attaches them on his belt, grabs his shotgun and medpack. Axo follows the captain outside into the cold.
