ABOUT the FORCE POWERS

Force powers were the manifestations of a Jedi, Sith, or other Force-adept's connection with the Force, an energy field that binds everything in existence. These powers were supernatural abilities not described by scientists. The powers were usually taught by Force-using organizations, but there were examples of individual, self-improving methods of learning to use the Force. There were many kinds of Force powers, but not all were available to a single person, since some of them required a deep connection with one side of the Force and others were secret or very rare. Also, as a side note, it should be taken into account that the Force is not "magic," nor does it have specific "spells" or "powers," and they are far more interrelated than the list might suggest. Alternatively, the Force was seen and described as a form of magic by some individuals and more primitive cultures.

Force power always hit targets and their effectiveness depends on Use the Force skill. Thus Force Powers do not require BAB to hit. Force Power differ in many ways so their counters too. Read description of every Force Power to see how can their effect be countered or reduced. Force Power can be used only once per turn, despite of character's BAB level.

Any Force power has default range of 10 meters/hex. Their area of effect spreads from the point/target they hit. The range and aoe may differ if the Force Power specifies their own ruling in description.

Force Powers can be used even if you are fully armed. They take no weapon hand slot. However this rule may not be in effect if a Force Power has its own ruling in description.

To learn a Force Power and improve its effect, a character needs to purchase ranks with Force Points. Force powers are separated via alignment on light, universal (gray), and dark side Force Powers. Characters whose alignment matches the alignment of a Force Power has stronger connection to it, and Characters whose alignment opposes alignment of a Force Power has weaker connection to it.

Light Side Aligned Force Power adds 15% effect bonus to to Light Side Aligned Character, 0% effect bonus to Neutral Aligned Character, and -15% effect bonus to Dark Side Aligned Character.

Dark Side Aligned Force Power adds 15% effect bonus to to Dark Side Aligned Character, 0% effect bonus to Neutral Aligned Character, and -15% effect bonus to Light Side Aligned Character.

Universal Side Aligned Force Power adds 0% effect bonus to to Neutral Side Aligned Character, 0% effect bonus to Light Aligned Character, and 0% effect bonus to Dark Side Aligned Character.

Alignment Mastery is when character either reaches dark side alignment value of 0 or light side alignment value of 100. In that case you gain additional +15% to force powerver effect with the force power that matches your alignment. Alignment Mastery does not reduce effect of any force power that opsoses your alignment.
