A medic was a title held by soldiers that carried medical supplies into a battlefield and tended to wounded soldiers. They were present in many armies. Medic's main role is to keep his comrades alive long enough to complete mission. Medic is especially wanted when objective include highly secured targets (bosses) where a fight without a medic can end up quickly and lead to critical mission faliure.

HEALING RAY - At level 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, Medic gains Healing Ray. This is Medic's specific tech training and can be learned and improved only by Medic levels.

Rank 1: Medic can connect his pistol with his medic backpack as 1 turn action. Medic's pistol can fire healing rays instead of damage. Healing done with pistol equals to pistol's damage, critical chance and critical multiplier. If you targets allies, you do not need to roll attack to hit. However, BAB still decides how many times you can fire healing rays with your pistol. All rays fired in 1 turn do not need to focus on a single target like a normal attack that deals damage. A Medic can decide target of each fired healing ray in a single turn. Medic cannot deal damage with his pistol until he spends a turn to disconnect his pistol from his medic backpack. As healing ray does not require attack roll to hit, Medic can easily dual wield pistols to double his healing. However, each pistol requires turn to connect or disconnect from medic backpack.

Rank 2: Healing Ray gains bonus to healing power equal to total rank in Medicine skill.

Rank 3: Healing ray automatically removes all debuffs of biological origin, like poisons, diseases, and paralysis.

Evolution A: Healing Ray gains +1 Critical Chance
Evolution B: Healing Ray gains +1 Critical Multiplier

Rank 5:
Evolution A: Healing Ray gains +1 Critical Chance
Evolution B: Healing Ray gains +1 Critical Multiplier
Evolution C: Reanimation Ray allows once per battle to revive a downed target on the battlefield. Reanimation works on any organic target that has been affected any time by a Healing Ray during current battle. Thus a downed target can get back on feet without waiting for Medic to perform a stand alone turn for reanimation. If during the battle downed target was never healed with Healing Ray, then a stand alone turn is required from Medic to revive target. Reanimation Ray effect expires at end of battle and can be used once per battle. Reanimated target has 100% hp.

Medic Evolution - At level 10 Medic is strong enough to evolve into a new stage. At that levels Medic can select one of the 3 evolution perks. Medic can select only one evolution perk.

Perk A - Healing Ray Expansion: Medic can now connect other weapons to his medic backpack, to apply healing ray on them. Affected weapons: shotgun, assault rifle, sniper rifle. Additionally, Medic no longer needs to spend a turn for connecting or disconnecting weapons from his medic backpack. His weapons can now heal and do damage at will.

Perk B - Healing Drone : Medic can summon Healing Drone to help on the field once per battle. You can see Medic Drone stats bellow.

Medicine: +5 Medicine Skill to Medic as a buff

Perk C - Healing Beacon: All allies of the Medic and Medic himself gains a free revival if they hit zero health points. They restore their health points back to 100%. Healing Beacon can be used once per mission/episode for every person. If Medic for example has 3 allies, Healing Beacon can be used 4 times, each person (Medic included) can use it once in a mission/episode.
