Background Story: When he and his twin were younger, Karakis was always the more quiet one, keeping himself out of sight and sneaking around, he used this to his advantage when he saw his brother getting bullied by other kids on coruscant, as they wouldn't expect him to sneak up behind them. This behaviour caught the attention of the jedi order, who approached Karakis and offered to take him in and train him as a Shadow. Despite his constant requests, he could never convince the masters to take his brother in as well, their reasoning being that having his twin there would distract him from his training. Dreshand resented this, resented Karakis and the order, and it was no surprise that Karakis soon learned that his brother had disappeared alltogether a few years later. Karakis himself suspected Dreshand had gone to seek out the Sith, and so, refusing to let his brother beat him, and determined to bring him back to Coruscant alive, he threw himself into his training, eventually becoming a Jedi Shadow. His instructors had always considered Karakis to be a bit of a hard case, despite their advice and teaching, Karakis did enjoy fighting, not because he liked defeating or killing his opponents, but because of the thrill battles themselves gave him. Now-a-days, Karakis is rarely called upon when the Jedi need someone discreetly and permanently silenced, he has managed this without his targets being linked back to the Jedi Order, which is why they continue to stay allied with him, instead of casting him out.
Personal comment: Karakis is dark ingame, but ICly he's grey. The only person he won't fight is his brother, his brother exists ingame as one of my alts.
