| SHIEN Shien Rank 1: When using Saber Defense Skill against blaster fire, you can reflect 20% of damage back to all hostiles while in Shien Form. Taking Shien Form is a free action and does not require turn. However, deactivating Shien Form, or switching to any other Lightsaber Form requires a turn as a full action.
Shien Rank 2: The range of your lightsaber attacks increases, allowing you to attack 2 targets at once.
Shien Rank 3: The range of your lightsaber attacks increases, allowing you to attack 3 targets at once.
Shien Rank 4: The range of your lightsaber attacks increases, allowing you to attack 4 targets at once.
Shien Rank 5: The range of your lightsaber attacks increases, allowing you to attack 5 targets at once. Your area of effect damage with lightsaber is increased by 20%.
Gameplay: Shien can counter Gun Attacks, Force Lighting, Physical Objects, Lightsaber Attacks. This form requires any lightsaber to use. The number of targets Shien form offers stacks with the number of targets that some big weapons can provide. Unless class specifically gives this form, you need to learn Form I Shi-Cho Rank 3 to unlock this form.
Shien: Form V, also known by its two primary disciplines of Shien and Djem So, as well as The Way of the Krayt Dragon or The Perseverance Form, was the fifth of seven forms recognized as canon by the last Jedi Council for lightsaber combat. It was developed by practitioners of Form III who felt that the defensively-minded form would unnecessarily extend time spent in combat by forcing its users to wait for an opportunity to strike rather than create their own openings. Form V combat was characterized by power attacks and defense immediately followed by a counter-strike.
