STARLIGHT Low Blow (Episode 1)

Now when Lin'drala calmed down the soldier, he would share what he knows about the attack with her: "Thank you Master Jedi. I don't know what we would do without your help. I will collect useful weapons from our fallen soldiers, and then join the battle or help with evacuation. I cannot hide. The sith, they said they are going towards the bridge to kill the founder. And they are not alone, imperial soldiers are with them." Soldier watches Lin'drala as she makes her way onwards after the sith, and suddenly the network is alive again, connection is alive, and communications are somehow restored. The soldier receives the codes from Marinez, and allows his ship to enter the hangar on the hospital station, by using a console on the wall. Marinez, in badly damaged imperial hunter, storms inside the hangar, leaving smoke and fire behind, crashes onto the floor and continues to slip, creating heat of sparks and scratch traces. Lin'drala could feel the familiar presence in the force, as soon Marinez flies in. His landing moves too fast, it is most likely that Marinez will hit into a wall inside the hangar.

Lin'drala turns to see the damaged ship crashing into the hangar, she barely has time to react but cannot simply do nothing while Marinez is in danger. She closes her eyes and reaches out with the force hoping that she might slow the hunter down before serious damage is caused.

It would take strong connection in the Force to lift one imperial hunter, yet along to stop it from moving too fast. And that connection with the Force is what Jedi Lin'drala posses. Through her command of the Force, the imperial hunter slows down, and completely stops from moving, without hitting anything on its path, which helped Marinez to land unharmed. But by connecting with the Force, Lin'drala alerted the other side, the sith. Her presence was now known to them. And as they were walking the hall towards the bridge, they both, master and apprentice stop moving, and with them their imperial soldiers as well.

Imperial Soldier: "Is something wrong my Lord?"
Lord Tazor looks around himself before he answers: "There is .. disturbance in the Force. We have another Jedi on this station."
Sith Apprentice: "I felt it too Master. Whoever that jedi may be, I can kill him or her."
Lord Tazor: "I will trust your words once I see proof. Go my apprentice, kill the jedi, and bring me jedi lightsaber, so I can see are you worthy to become a sith."
Sith Apprentice smiles and makes his way towards the hangar. Lord Tazor commands two more soldiers to escort the apprentice, and offer backup. And in the hangar now, Marinez and Lindrala can catch up and talk about what they should do next.

As the Imperial Hunter crashes on the landing deck, Marinez embrace the impact the landing, As the Imperial Hunter came to a complete stop he press the emergence escape button. The cockpit hatch flew open. Marinez climbs out of the smoking wreck. Marinez looks around and saw piles of bodies everywhere, the scene was gruesome then a image behind the smoke blocking a clear sight who or what behind it so Marinez has his assault cannon up ready. Appear The Jedi Master, Marinez makes a sign of relief. He walked over to the Jedi "Reporting, SIR!" then explain that the antenna was destroyed but not the destroyer "All communication has been restored, What's your next order? Sir"

"Its good to see you in one piece soldier, we must now prepare to face our enemy." Lin'drala looked around taking in the devastation the was all around them. "If the enemy is not already alerted to our presence they soon will be, steady your courage and take heart, we shall bring these enemies of the Republic to justice for their crimes, lets move out."

As Lin'drala and Marinez make their way through the station, the survived soldier calls for reinforcement. Two republic cruisers arrive with light speed and join the space battle. Starfighters are exiting their hangars and attack imperial hunters in space, drawing fire away from the hospital station. Lord Tazor advances towards the bridge. His men are ahead clearing the path for him, so he can reach the Founder without making his hands dirty. The last line of defense is Barracudas, the twi'lek jedi padawan, assigned to observe work on the hospital station. But now this mission became more difficult for her, she has to protect the founder, Welaho, who is stubborn, and does not want to escape with rest of the people, he wants to stay with his hospital to the end. That is how they ended before the bridge. As the time is difficult, and most of the republic forces are defeated, few brave doctors decided to join battle, instead to escape while they still had chance. But they lack military training, and will not last long against imperial troopers. When Barracudas reaches the door with Welaho, the door to bridge are closed from inside, and they cannot pass. And imperial soldiers are behind them, opening fire at them, but still far away enough to miss them.

Barracudas Options:

2. (Break through with lightsaber - takes 5 turns)
3. [Slicing 7] (Unlock the door by hacking the console on it)

The door opens, showing a man standing at the door console inside, with one hand at the console, and with the other hand holding a shotgun. This man is obviously not a soldier, as he wears uniform of medic assistant and a cap. When he takes better look at Barracudas and the founder, he feels relief: "Sir, you are alive, I thought we lost you in the attack. I tried to reach the escape pods but the fire was too heavy, so I came to the bridge to help the wounded pilots, and when we lost the communication with everyone, we were locked inside ever since. My name is Axo, please come in quickly so I can lock the door again. These doors are heavy, they will never pass through it." Axo is waiting for Barracudas and Welaho to enter the bridge.

Welaho enters the bridge without thinking much. But the imperial troopers are already in range, and they keep firing. Energy bolts are passing through the doorway and hitting the walls inside the bridge area. Welaho calls for Barracudas: "Come inside child, quickly before they shoot us!" The rain of energy bolts increases and its most likely they will hit either Axo or Welaho.

Barracudas Options:

2. [Force 7] (Enter the bridge backwards, deflecting energy bolts away with lightsaber(s), protecting Axo and Welaho)
3. [Force 10] (Enter the bridge backwards, reflecting energy bolts back to attackers with lightsaber(s), protecting Axo and Welaho at same time)

"Close the door I will cover you, quickly!" Barracudas cries while activating her lightsaber, while doing her best to deflect all the incoming fire.

As the twi'lek padawan performs her defensive movement with her one lightsaber, not a single energy bolt passes her defense. Barracudas succesfully protected Axo and Welaho. She was even able to send energy bolts back at the troopers, wounding some badly, and even killing a few. A helmet of imperial trooper rolls before Lord Tazor's feet, and couple of two more of his men collapse around him. He narrows his eyes and orders one heavy trooper to fire at them. Imperial Trooper in heavy armor arrives and kneels in front of Lord Tazor, facing Barracudas in the distance, and fires a missile from bazooka he has leaned on his shoulder. Barracudas was already inside and Axo used the console just like intended, which closed the door right in front of the missile that was about to hit in Barracudas. Upon the impact, explosion unleashes fire and smoke in the hall, and the heavy door scream a noise of damaged metal, shaking the bridge room for few moments. The attack failed to break through, and its explosion had to spread elsewhere, back to Lord Tazor. When the fire enters his reach, with wave of his hand, the dark side of the force tears through the fire, protecting Lord Tazor and his alive and unharmed troopers, while those that are dead, or wounded by Barracudas are caught in fire, and died painfully. Welaho maintains balance and quickly moves to the console that Axo was using, and starts pressing buttons on it: "This was close, but they will have to do harder if they plan to break in." Another two levels of heavy doors come out from walls, closing the current ones in middle, creating heavy protection that now a bazooka will have no chance against it. Lord Tazor rages and sends his agent to open the door. The imperial agent plugs in his computer in wall next to the door, and begins hacking, sending viruses in the system. Consoles behind Barracudas and Axo begin to glow red, and one of the pilots warns them how are the imperials breaking through. One of the doors slowly begins to open. Someone has to counter hack the imperial agent, and wipe out his viruses in the system. As the jedi padawan is the highest rank in the room, its her call.

Barracudas' Options:

"They are breaking through! Everyone take defensive positions, get ready just in case!" Barracudas cried to the assembled group. She turned to Axo: "Axo try to stop them from unlocking that door"

"On it!" Axo places his small shotgun on back and lays down his both hands on the door console. With quick finger work, he attempts to keep the door closed, he is aware that those door are the last line of defense now, and that keeping them closed is the only way to stay alive, and keep others safe. This is big pressure for him, he was never so close to face a Sith Lord. He hopes that with his computer skills, he can hold of the enemy until help arrives.

Axo's computer skills wipe out all viruses from the system and counters imperial agent's attempt to open the door. One of the doors that started to open slowly instantly close again. Agent plugs out his computer from the wall and reports to the Sith Lord: "My Lord, someone inside is blocking the access to the main control of the doors. They cannot be opened from this side." Lord Tazor removes his cape from the belt, and his lightsaber moves through the air in his hand: "Everything can be opened. You just need to use correct tool for it." With those words, Lord Tazor dives his lightsaber into the heavy metal doors. Lightsaber will break through, but it needs some time. Will Lin'drala and Marinez arrive on time?

They made progress through the halls of the station, and there is elevator in front of them, that leads to the same hall where Lord Tazor is located. But that elevator is already in use by the sith apprentice. As the elevator doors open, he exits with two imperial soldiers, and they stay five meters in front of Lin'drala and Marinez. Sith Apprentice uses elevator console to send the elevator away, then he activates his lightsaber and with it destroys the console so that elevator cannot be summoned again. He then takes pose with his lightsaber, and Lin'drala can recognize that the sith is using makashi lightsaber form.

Lin'drala approached the Sith, she kept her lightsaber at the ready but did not take any offensive motions towards him. "I sense the dark side in you, the anger, the hate... You seek to end my life Sith but your efforts shall find no success." She paused for a moment studying the Sith before her. "You are lost in hate Sith, I feel the deception inside of you, the blindness the dark side brings, even if you were to strike me down in the eyes of your master you will never be anything more than a tool." Lind'rala is attempting to damage the Sith's resolve.

Sith Apprentice sees through Lin'drala's bluffing easily, he chuckles before he replies back to her: "Through the killings of the jedi, my power grows. It is not weakness to be seen as tool in someone's eyes, it is the strength, and advantage, for while they look you like that, they will never see when you come for them. The Force shall free me. My master still has time, but your time just run out, jedi! Troopers, kill her soldier companion. She is all mine!" Two imperial soldiers open fire at Marinez, and the sith apprentice force speeds at Lin'drala. His footwork and timing are well trained, which makes up for the lack of strength. Seeking the way to outmaneuver Lin'drala, the sith attacks Lin'drala with his lightsaber, as imperial soldiers continue shooting at Marinez.

Lin'drala ignites her lightsaber in an instant response to the Sith's attack, she falls on her mastery of Soresu to defend from his lightsaber strikes. The Jedi holds no fear in her heart she feels that the force is with her. "While you are a slave of the dark side you shall never be free, if you do not turn away from this path then you shall leave me no choice." She attempts to use the force to push the Sith back so that she might deal with the soldiers attacking Marinez.

Sith Apprentice shields himself with hands, using the force himself to protect himself from Lin'drala. Their strength in force was almost equal, but Lin'drala manages to overpower him somehow, and with the force she pushes the sith back few meters, knocking him down on the metal floor. This gives time for Lin'drala to act against the imperial soldiers, who attack Marinez by firing deadly energy bolts from their guns.

Marinez goes and finds the nearest cover, when he gets the chance he aims his assault cannon at the imperial troopers and fires a hail of bolt back
