STARLIGHT Blood or Force (Episode 10)

"Look I don't have the time, I'm going through an emotional rollercoaster as it is. She was my partner in crime so to speak, we've gone through a lot together, sadly the reunion didn't go as planned. We are bound by our Healer's Oath to help any in need. I will explain everything later, keep her sedated if you must, but every minute spend here is one lost." She tells him, if he doesn't stop her, she hurries out of the medbay and the ship back into the caves towards Pakk's coordinates. (Team B)

TEAM S



Team S took different path in the mountain caves. This path was leading to unknown direction. As the team was going deeper and deeper, they could notice change in wall textures, as they appear to be some sort of ruins. Not everything was made of rock and ice, there was a cultural mark here and there, remains left of its inhabitants long time ago. The team finds a frozen creature in a wall, and a frozen chest in front of his feet. It appears to be humanoid that does not belong to this era.

Satele examines the figure curiously, she places her hand the ice tank, and cleans the snow, revealing the creature's head: "Hmm, it looks human alike but it is not. I do not sense life in it. This place is old and beyond our understanding. We should proceed without disturbing those in rest." Satele suggests to continue, she will respect the decision of the full team, if one voice agrees with her, the team will continue, if two voices disagree with her, team can stay and study the secrets of this room, and try to reveal them.

Oyo would want to search for any weapons that these ancient creatures may had, his rattataki curiosity for weapons and armor are obvious. But seeing that the other two Jedi already voiced that they are going to proceed, Oyo would just follow them.

Team S discovered elevators on their own side, and they used them to move towards the core of the Mountain. Both teams could be soon reunited, but for now, their paths are still separated. Team B and Team S exits their elevator, and they find themselves in a hall. The elevators locks behind them, and during the entire hall, on side walls there are insectoid droids hanging. They seem deactivated. It appears that they do not wish to engage the Jedi, is it because they know they are no match for them? Or perhaps someone wants them to pass?

Barracudas looks around, not trusting the situation, trying to spot any traps or the like. (awareness)

Barracudas spotted a closed computer implanted into a wall. It looks ahead of its time, but somehow still old.

Approaching it very carfully she attempt to find out of which age it originates. (archeology)

The construction matches best description about Architects (Celestials), the unknown race that use to rule the galaxy through technology and the Force. Insectoid droids resemble race Killiks, probably the race itself use to be their slaves, but they were eventually replaced with machines. Without knowing how to use the computer, there is not much information here.

"I've never seen something like this before. Do you know what is it?" Jag moves closer to the computer and tries to finds a power button to activate it (Cunning).

The computer powers up and activates, exits the wall and with holo images surrounding Jag, closing him inside. One of the beams fires from the computer into Jag's forehead, easily bypassing Jag's helmets and hits him into the brain, lifting Jag half meter in air, and is holding him there. Jag is connected, can his body handle the connection? (Fortitude 15)

Jag was hit by a surprise when the computer suddenly activates like that, he had no idea what is he getting into. When he is lifted in air Jag feels the pain and groans, trying to fight it off, struggling.

More power comes out from the computer in form of electricity, hitting Jag's body, keeping him in air, but it is no longer painful. The computer is now connected with Jag's nervous system and his brain impulses. The soldier can now reveal the secrets of this place. But it is just mater of time how much the computer could handle if used by a species they were not designed for.

Jag looks directly into the computer and with single movement of his index finger, the wall between Team B and Team S opens, allowing them to reunite now, without traveling separated any further. "This mountain ... it is a bunker of the Architects, there is enough firepower to wipe up stars." Jag opens wall window, through which people could see hangar of super advanced starships and machines, and sends a holo image in the center of the room for crew to see the map of entire Mountain, it appears to be a big construction itself, perhaps a warship buried beneath the mountain, or if the crew could make sense of it, the mountain itself could probably fly up into the stars. All halls point down towards the core, towards the control room. Another holo image separates from Jag's body, showing the "camera" live broadcast of Mileetra torturing Jedi Master Lin'drala with force lighting.

"They probably have." She comments sadly. "Jag, can you locate where exactly the key positions of this settlement are?"

"They know we are here, they locked the elevators behind us, this platform cannot override commands from the core room. Our trip has only one direction now, to face Lord Jadus. I am detecting many frozen tanks beneath this mountain, that contain creatures of those who are ... who were strong in the Force. One of them appears to be still alive." Another holo picture separates from Jag's body and floats in the room showing the ice tank with a person inside, and its vital signs appears to be weak but sustainable. "The control room can be used to destroy all what is here, or to activate it and go into space but the key, the component we require to have full control over it is missing, it has been stolen by ... a Revanite. This entire ... mother ship is capable of destroying planets in a single powerful energy blast."

"Good to know that they can't use this death trap." She looks at the holo image of the only survivor. "What do you mean 'were' strong in the force, how do you know, even better, who is that person?"
