STARLIGHT Blood or Force (Episode 10)

Sicilia smiles sadly when they see daylight again, focusing on the next job she preys to whatever diety that would listen. "Please let her be safe." She looks to Master Satele and Axo. "Miss Satele can you sense anyone still down there, Lin'drala left to insure that her sister, Mileetra, didn't come close to Jadus again. We forgot to give her a hololink and Barracudas went off to save the life of someone located elsewhere. Can you sense them or something? I'm sorry, my knowledge of your powers is not impressive but I kinda tried to avoid coming into combat with your order, including the sith. I am trying to get a hold of Barracudas' communicator but either it has been turned off, or worse it has been damaged or the signal is being blocked, the chance is real she didn't make it. She told me and Jag to delay you in destroying the core because she insisted on securing that survivor. The droids suddenly activating was not something anyone of us could have foreseen." She says sadly.

Sicilia slams her fists on the console in front of her. "Damnit!" She cursus. Going for a different approach she looks to Axo. "Can you try to find any life signals please? I seem to be getting error messages from the energy surrounding the mountain."

Sicilia could feel something small but she ignored it due to the distress she was feeling of her decision having the potential of having killed a friend and someone the crew holds dear.

(Force sense of Master Satele is stronger then of Lin'drala, Master Satele is not able to sense anything. Telepathy on long distance is Kell Dor exclusive.)

Sicilia nods to him. "Alright. I guess it's a waitin game now."

Barracudas takes the hololink and tries again. "Guys can you hear me, I made it out alive. Anyone there?"

The weight that dropped of her shoulders when she heard Barracudas' voice. Yes! Yes, we hear you! Hold on I'm locating your position." Typing away a timer is going down. Getting an overview of the area that keeps getting smaller and smaller. "Are you hurt or need medical attention?"

Overjoyed an hearing her friends respond she reassures them. "No physically I'm fine. I will tell you later what happened. But I was saved by a new ally I released right before the mountain went crazy. We'll hold this position untill you arrive there is a clearing here where you wil be able to land."

Vigilance Beacon picks up Barracudas and the Architect at the given coordinates.

Right before Sicilia left to welcome back Barracudas and apologize to her, the monitor gave the message there were 2 life signals near a lake a few hundred meters north to their location. Giving in the command to fly to that location she left to the entrance of the ship. "Bara! I'm so glad you made it out alive and who's this?" Looking to Orion, "Never Mind it doesn't matter I'm sorry we didn't have time to wait anymore, for some reason the droids started activating right after we defeated Jadus. We had to destroy the core. We're now moving towards wha think is Lin'drala location, it should only take a minute." Looking to Orion she thanks him too. "Thanks for saving my friend's life. I'm Sicilia. Welcome aboard the Vigilance Beacon." She offers him her hand, not caring about his strange appearance.

"That was my fault, after I released him from his cryotank the defense system started activating. I actually need to introduce him to Master Satele, he's on a quest and we can both use each others help." Feeling out with the force she locates Master Satele in the cockpit and leaves to inform her of Orion. Not really worried if he decided to follow her or not. He knew his way around now, at least if he had all her memories. "I should ask him about my ancestetors when I have the chance. I could finally find out who my parents and ancestors were. I know nothing about them..." She realised sadly, sure she had had clan-sisters but there is a difference between growing up together and sharing the same blood.

Ceviran wrote:

The Vanguard takes his helmet off and gives the answer he heard during the battle: "We were trying to rescue Captain Jedi Master Lin'drala, and Jadus' apprentice was there torturing her, the woman is Lin'drala's sister, and Captain Lin'drala wanted to capture her sister, not kill her."

A smile escapes on the vangaurd's face when he sees Barracudas rejoining the crew on ship: "You made it young Jedi. You made me worried."

Barracudas smiles back at him. "Yes, I was worried myself. But after leaving to see if I could release him I faced another Banchee. Master Zemalia's dark side was released again after she sacrificed herself for us. I barely survived the fight but The Architect saved my life. He saw me safe his so he saved mine. I hope we can work together with him, but I have to report to Master Satele about him and what happened when we split off."

Barracudas shakes her head at Ceviran. "Yes, because saving Master Lin'drala, defeating the apprentice of Jadus, defeating a Banshee hybrid that could have terrorized the galaxy and saving Orion's life are pragmatic decisions. I decided to risk my life and my life alone to save Orion, if I hadn't then "your" decision would have killed him. You know what a Banchee is knight Ceviran? Do you know what they are? A banshee is the force spirit of a strongwilled, darkside individual. It's the soul and essence of a deceased Force-user who denied the will of the Force upon death. Because of its rage at the loss of its own life, it delights in bringing death to any living creature it encounters. It's appearance alone demoralizes and weakens you. We lost Master Zemalia when we encountered 3 of them on our way up to that mountain. When I went to save Orion's life, because you didn't value his life important enough, you're not alone in this, everyone else decided other matters were more important without even trying. I encountered another Banchee planning to possess Orion and take all his knowledge, powers and body as it's own. You know what would have happened if I hadn't stopped it? Jadus would have been a minor nuisance compared to it. I have felt Orion's powers myself. I have never felt another light user as powefull as him. I refused to accept my Master getting killed, I refused to accept abandoning an innocent's life and I succeeded. If you go by the opnion that the means justify the end. Then let me tell you that it isn't. I made horrible decisions thinking like that and if I die making up for my past mistakes, I will die knowing I did doing to repent for all the time I thought differently. I hope you can keep to them, for your own sake." Barracudas leaves it at that. Having stayed calm the entire way. Hoping that some of her words got through to Ceviran but doubting it. Walking past Ceviran she goes to the cockpit for Master Satele.
