STARLIGHT Blood or Force (Episode 10)

Satele may be Master of the Force, but even she could not stand still and peaceful after the voice of wiping woman touches her heart: "This ... this is the darkness I felt, it must be. If I could compare this to anything, it would be the dark side force power - Force Scream. But I've never heard a version like this before. We could be walking into the area of the dark side of the Force that is unknown to any Jedi. Something like this we only ran upon a discovered holocron created by Exar Kun. We kept it a secret within the council, but it was stolen on the day when Barracudas was supposed to have knighthood ceremony."

Sicilia rushes over to Wetty and smiles when noticing she's still breathing. Reaching out to her belt for her equipment and starts taking care of the few wounds she sustained, injecting a sedative into her bloodstream with a regenerative attached to it. (status Wetty GM?)

Barracudas frowns when hearing the part where she failed to apprehend that thief. "Whatever it is, it's on our path and it's nature will decide how we act towards it. Assume it hostile and keep your weapons in reach, we didn't hear anything back from that pirate so that can't be good."

Wetty is badly wounded and requires life support. This means she needs to be taken back to ship if to survive. Doing so you must lose 1 crew member who would take her back. You can also leave her here but she will not survive for long on her own. Person who brings her back on the ship can rejoin the mission only in phase 2/3 of final boss battle.

Sicilia perform a scan and her eyes widen at seeing the results, her field aid is not working as it should be. Cause of it turning out to be internal injuries she curses. She panicks for a second when seeing Wetty's life signals go silent but acts immediatly, reaching to her belt where she stacks her liquid vials, she takes one containing adrenaline and jams it into Wetty's body. Seeing her heartbeat return she acts accordingly. Acting with haste she scrambles everything back together, attaching her sniper rifle on her back she looks to Barracudas. She sinks back to her knees and begs to her. "Please, please let me save her, I don't have the right equipment here, I need to bring her to the ship or she won't make it. I beg you, I'll do whatever you want but let me save my friend."

"There is no need to beg. I understand what you're going through." Barracudas' heart breaking on seeing the sight in front of her. She takes her commlink and creates a link with the Vigiliance Beacon. "Axo, we have someone critically injured, Sicilia has been treating the wounds but she can't do it from here, we need you to bring the ship as close to our location for medevac." She nods at Sicilia. "Go save your friend."

"Acknowledged, moving to the same drop coordinates. I would scan mountain for additional landing zones but the weather here is creating electronic problems, it could take a while to finish scanning the entire mountain." Axo responds through the communicator with buzzing noises.

There is nothing left but to continue the mission deeper in the cave. There are two paths before the crew. Left path leads towards coordinates given by Pakk, right path leads to unknown.

Jag did not expect that zeltron will remain loyal to the Republic. He felt sad for what she had to do but he did not show what he was feeling. He watched her carry her friend out of the cave, and began to question his own decision, if he would be forced into Sicilia's position.

Looking at the cross section she thinks about what Pakk said, his exit was blocked off but if he is still alive he may need help. "Alright, we can't risk this. Jag and Zemalia please follow me towards the left entrance. Master Satele take the others towards the right. If we meet an obstruction we will be able to clear it. Either with the force or with explosives.If we can't we will catch up and call any findings over."

"Be careful out there, we do not know where the second passage leads, but we will stay in touch. Beware of the dark side forces. Knight Ceviran and Padawan Oyo, follow me this way." Satele leads her team through the right passage.

Team B

The crew is split into two teams. After they have been separated for half hour, Barracudas leads her team to the collapsed point that Pakk warned Sicilia about. The ice is heavy and there is no way going through it.

The ice shatters as if it was just a glass when Zemalia unleashes her Force TK upon it. Her precise and skillful force wielding manages to no create no further collapsing or danger of collapsing, thus no other crew member ends up harmed. She was told to create passage, and that's exactly what she did, without putting her crew in danger from the environment. Using tech explosives could alert the droids, by using the Force, sensors did not detect any activity. However, using the force alerted those who can sense it, the dark creatures that lurk further within. Red woman stops crying and quickly turns towards the direction of the Force TK. Another red woman comes out from the ground next to her, like a zombie. It is unknown how many of them are actually there, but one is certain, dark side of the Force strengthens in the area before Team B. And the women, they are not happy with trespassers entering their domain.

Barracudas took cover behind one of the stalagmites. Feeling the concentration of the dark sdie rising, she fears the worst. "Jag, activate those shield of yours. We're gonna need them." Taking the lead she moves forwards.

"Understood!" Jag activates shields for Barracudas and Zemalia, his own are already active. "What is going on?" This vanguard is unable to sense or understand force activities, but he trusts that Barracudas would not be alerted for no reason, that she is not crazy or something.

Barracudas walks through the newly creates hole. Activating both of her ligtsabers. "Whatever happened to that pirate. It isn't friendly, and it's coming towards us."

BANSHEE




A banshee is the force spirit of a strongwilled, darkside individual usually female humanoid, a soul and essence of a deceased Force-user who denied the will of the Force upon death. Because of its rage at the loss of its own life, it delights in bringing death to any living creature it encounters. This creature appears as a translucent image of the form it held in life. With the passage of time, the banshee’s image tends to become blurred and indistinct, though the creature remains recognizable as a humanoid. It usually comes in a female form. Banshees hate all living things with dark side fury, and they readily attack anyone foolish enough to trespasses within their territories. A banshee typically uses its horrific appearance to drive off less powerful foes, then employs its howling wail one or more times to damage any who remain. Finally, it finishes off the intruders with its Charisma drain in melee. If overmatched, the creature flees into the earth.

Horrific Appearance: Any living creature within 60
feet that views a banshee must make a successful Fortitude
save (DC 18 Intimidate) or permanently lose 1d4 points of Strength, 1d4
points of Dexterity, and 1d4 points of Constitution. A creature
that successfully saves against this effect cannot be affected
by the same banshee’s horrific appearance for 24 hours. This
does not use a turn, but it is automatically activated at the
beginning of every combat cycle withing line of sight. Negative effect
can be removed only with Force Heal, which must beat the very
same DC of 18, if it fails, Healer can try again after 24h.

Detect Living: This ability functions like
the force sense, except that it detects only
living creatures and the range is one-half mile.
Banshee detects living automatically without
any roll. This ability cannot be used to foresee
future or events. The banshee can use detect living
up to three times per day and spends it as an active
turn or a counter. This cannot detect droids.

Incorporeal Subtype: A banshee can be
harmed only by other incorporeal creatures,
or energy weapons, energy force powers,
and supernatural abilities. A banshee can pass
through solid objects, but not force effects, at will.
Its attacks ignore natural armor, armor,
and shields. A banshee always moves silently and cannot
be heard with awareness checks if it doesn’t wish to be.
A banshee is immune to mind-affecting effects, poison,
sleep, paralysis, stunning, disease, death effects, and any
effect that requires a Fortitude save unless it also works on objects.
It is not subject to critical hits, subdual damage, ability damage, ability drain,
energy drain, or death from massive damage or sneak attack.
The creature has darkvision (60-foot range).

Force Scream (Banshee):
The Force scream had been called “a wave of hatred, amplified and fueled by the dark side,
that is capable of smashing through mental and physical defenses with ease.” A number
of references to Dark Jedi in Old Republic archives often mentioned the Dark Jedi violently
losing control in the final moments of battle.

Damage: Sonic Physical Energy AOE (hostiles) - 20dps
Effect: Banshee's Force Scream ignores all armor and shields, and force power protections.
If you can hear it, you are affected. You can protect yourself only with soundproof walls,
windows, or not being close enough to its source. The scream is followed with terrible pain and
sadness, as well as horror. Races who are sensitive to these emotion suffer double damage (Zeltron)
