STARLIGHT Echoes of the Jedi Academy (Episode 7) PART 2

Getting blown away because of the force explosion, Barracudas turned midway to land in a crouch, while still sliding a few feet upon landing. Blinking away the light of the explosion, she recovers herself. Feeling fatigued by her exertion in defeating both opponents and her wound on one of her lekku. Summoning her own lightsabers back to her because of the explosion, having blown them away out of her hands. She deactivated them and put them back on her belt. Reaching out to her damaged lekku, she hissed upon touching it. Trying to dimm the pain with the force she approached the mask on the ground. Picking it up for inspection. While commenting to Blood'gunner, being annoyed at her for not doing anything to contribute to the battle. "Do something useful and deploy that turret of yours, it has Kolto gas/liquid stored inside of it and I can definately use some of it. Instead of just standing their and watch us fighting."

It looks like identical copy of Revan's Mask.

Blood'Gunner deploy her turret to heal Barracudas

Feeling the relieve of the pain disappearing, Barracudas lets out a content sigh. Taking a closer look to the mask again, she attaches it next to her previously taken mask and the pistol of the Leader from before and turns to see Ceviran coming closer. "I see that you finally decided to return. I was right you know, if we hadn't split of we wouldn't have made it on time." She tells her and not waiting on an answer walks over to inspect the door, Tari was so desperate to open which she saw Revan opening in her vision.

Door appears to be heavily shielded. This is Rakatan technology and requires high skill to open. Thus on top of that, it was the Jedi who helped sealing this passage, and requires the use of Force itself. Each time Roll fails, the DC increases by 5 for opening the door.

To open the door one must use the Force (Wisdom 15), the Stone Lock (Archeology 15) and to disable shields (Cunning 15).

[Mask Equiped]

Waiting on any further orders from Ceviran or Fyria, she moves closer to the door. Inspecting it to find out how to open it. Having an idea, she takes the mask of Tari and puts it on. Maybe she saw something I didn't. Discovering different kinds of machanisms she tries to undo them to open the gateway.

Focusing on the force, she noticed she could feel a slightly stronger conncection to it. Centering her power on the door, she succeeds in disabling the force protection on it. Moving on to the stone lock. She is able to find the hidden stone that Revan used to enter. Moving on to the final one, she hopes she will be able to do this.

The stone lock rotates and door before Barracudas and it opens the door. Barracudas could see an active star map few meters from her, but inside the new room. The map cannot be read or used for anything from this distance, she would have to enter to see.

Meanwhile. Zemalia's Shuttle ends lightspeed travel, and her shuttle now orbits the planet of Dantooine. Jag could see that there is a space battle between three different cations, pirates, empire, and a faction that is not readable in republic database. To reach the surface, Zemalia's Shuttle would need to pass one of them, and unlike Vigilance Beacon, this shuttle has no stealth generator.

Jag slows the shuttle down to scan the involved ships in space battle: "We arrived to Dantooine System. It looks like there is battle in the orbit. The scanners read wanted criminals and empire starifghters battling each other, but there are also ships that our scanners cannot recognize. To land on Dantooine we need to pass through one of their three groups. How do we proceed from here, Jedi Master?"

"Yes Jedi Master, taking the longer path around the planet." There was a bit of a surprised tone in Jag's reply to Zemalia's decision. He did not expect that opportunity like this to catch the criminals will be skipped. Obviously the shuttle is not really prepared for war in space, but that does not mean one should let criminals go free, their place is behind a cell, and you gotta do your duty with no matter what tools you are provided. If it was Jag's call, the pirates would be the target. But no matter of how he felt about it, he respected and followed the command given by his superrior.

It was too late, Jag already brought the shuttle in the range of attack when he exited light speed. They attack Zemaila's Shuttle.

"They've spotted us! Incoming fire!" Jag warns the Jedi and then attempts to dodge energy bolts.

Thought the strong connection of Force, Jedi Master Lin'drala smashes the two starfighters, one into another. They explode, and Zemalia's Shuttle flies through the explosion. The path is now clear to Dantooine.

Jag quickly turns back to look over his shoulder at the noise that Zemalia made by falling off her seat, worried for her condition: "Is everything alright back there!?" When his scanners start showing further movement, Jag quickly turns back to his piloting, trying to figure out the results. He could not believe what was happening, so he looked personally through the window in front of him. He saw two sith fighters crash into each other, their explosion reflecting in Jag's wide opened eyes, and with his mouth half open in surprise. He could not figure out how that happened, trying to find a logical explanation. Yes he worked with Jedi before, but none of them was able to move starfighters with force powers, so that Zemalia could be one of the answers was not even on the list of his logical conclusions. So he thought himself: "I suppose the Empire got rusty. They were never that good at piloting or aiming anyway, they keep proving that every encounter." Now when the threat was removed, Jag sets auto pilot for Jedi Enclave on Dantooine, he gets up from his piloting seat and approaches to Zemalia to check on her.

Zemalia's Shuttle enters the orbit of the planet and then into its atmosphere. Auto pilot takes the shuttle on the dark part of the planet, where there is no sun. It is night there, where the Jedi Academy is. The Shuttle lands safely not so far from the Jedi Enclave, and it is near The Vigilance Beacon, but not close enough. From here Zemalia and Jag need to proceed on foot. Zemalia would find a box with a holocron, left for her by the council.

"She is tough for someone of her age. No wonder they assigned her for this mission. If only my piloting was good as she apparently thinks it is. I will try to not disappoint her." Jag nods approvingly to Zemalia as thoughts go through his head. He picks up his gear and rises hand to hold for the ceiling holder, waiting for the shuttle to land. When it does, he informs Zemalia that they arrived: "We touched the surface of Dantooine."
"Alright we made it, good we should proceed to the vigilance beacon immediately I sense our allies need our help."  Zemalia makes her  way down out of the shuttle and looks around, she pulls up her hood and sets off towards the vigilance beacon expecting Jag to follow. Jag follows Zemalia out of the Shuttle, waiting further for her orders.

OOC: This post was meant to be posted before Zemalia's, she was faster in typing so I modified my post and connected them.

When Zemalia's Shuttle landed, it scared most of the animals nearby, including the laigreks and kath hounds. However, the laigreks that were eventually corrupted with the dark side of the Force, that is echoing from depths of Star Map location, did not retreat. They just lurk in the darkness, and it looks too quiet. Maybe someone else is watching them from the shadows. Zemalia has two paths set before her.
