STARLIGHT Echoes of the Jedi Academy (Episode 6) PART 1

LAST SEASON:

Sith Lord Tazor wanted to execute Welaho, the best medic of the old republic who discovered the use of Gree Artifacts and kept Republic Army recovered in no time. With his apprentice, they attacked the hospital space station in Azure system. Padawan Barracudas was already on the station, sent by the High Jedi Council to oversee and protect. Master Lin'drala was guided through the Force to lend aid to the padawan on the station. They captured and arrested the sith apprentice, but Sith Lord had to be killed. Lin'drala's soldier, Marinez, heroically protected and aided the Republic from space. But Imperial special forces planted bomb on the hospital, and there was not enough time to evacuate all the wounded soldiers. The task of disabling the bomb fell to the hands of shy and unsecured medic Axo, who was inspired by the twi'lek padawan Barracudas' kiss. The two of them bought enough time for everyone to leave the hospital station. Those who remained joined on Lin'drala's ship and escaped the destruction of the hospital station. They became the crew of Vigilance Beacon under the lead of the Captain and Jedi Master Lin'drala...

With Welaho rescued from the grasp of the Empire, the crew moved to Ilum to further help the missions of Republic. The Empire conquered the Republic Base. But there was a third player involved, who attacked the Empire as well. It was a Dread Agent Nopar who came here to scan the Gree Artifact. He entered the base and locked the heavy door to prevent the crew from following. While Axo was trying to hack the console and open the door, the rest of the crew needed to hold the line against waves of Empire reinforces, in which process Welaho's life was lost and Marinez was downed. Remaining crew members finally caught up with the Dread Agent and faced him. Dread Agent Nopar was defeated by Jedi Master Lin'drala, after Nopar downed many crew members. Lin'drala spared Nopar and captured him. But she also destroyed the Gree Artifacts, and without Welaho, republic no longer has access to fast healing and recovering for the army, but so does not have anyone else. Nopar eventually joined the crew, and was released from the cell. He started turning towards the light side and revealed the plans of Dread Masters, that combination of the Gree Artifacts serve for creating the key to gate that leads to dark space, and beyond it lies nothing but Terror. Padawan Barracudas found and took lightsaber crystal Heart of Ilum...

To further grow the crew, Captain Lin'drala accepted rescue mission, to find and save lost jedi padawan Oyo. In this task she had aid of her own master, Zemalia, who was already infiltrating the Sith on Korriban. After investigation and searching Korriban tombs, the lost jedi was finally found. Possessed by sith spirits, the crew had to face the jedi and defeat him. By defeating him all sith spirits were banished from his body, and he was now his own again. Jedi Padawan Oyo joined the crew, even if he had dark past, and was a sith himself once. This was his test for Knighthood, that he failed. They give him harder tests from other padawans, because he outages all padawans in the academy, and there are even jedi masters younger than him, like Captain Lin'drala for example. Zemaila discovered the dark side force power Red Lighting, and studied in the tombs of Korriban. The crew left Korriban with a new crew member. But having this grown muscular rattataki around started affecting the ship funds, just to keep him fed... having even wookie around could probably be cheaper...

Crew of Vigilance Beacon moved to Taris for their next mission, where they recruited another trooper, Blood'Gunner. Lin'drala gave the mission lead to her padawan Barracudas. The padawan immediately started using her position to turn the ods to her fitting, and made steps towards the dark side. The crew faced the monsters of this world called raghouls. Their task was to capture Alpha Raghoul and use his brain to attempt making the cure against this infection. Going through enemy's lines of empire, the crew finally reached caged Alpha Raghoul. But there was female half zeltron Palomella pretending to be Empire Scientist. She was actually in love with the Alpha Raghoul, who was a zeltron before he was infected and transformed into this monster. Both Empire and Republic wanted him for research and experiments, but she came here to free him so that she can eventually make cure for her love and revert process to what Alpha Raghoul was before the infection. Loyalty was not strong enough so Oyo joined Palomella in her mission and turned his back to the Jedi. Padawan Barracudas decided to not engage them and allowed them to leave Taris system in peace. Events pissed Master Zemalia off and she also left the crew of Vigilance Beacon, after attacking her own mates on the ship, and when she was finally defeated she was taken back to Tython for healing. The fate of Palomella, Alpha Raghoul and Oyo is unknown ... at least for now.

Crew of Vigilance Beacon accepted a mission and call for aid sent by Jedi Knight Fyria on Tattooine. This mission was related to their own story. Dread Master activity was detected on the world of two suns. This was opportunity that couldn't be missed. Brontes came on this planet to discover the use of Seeds of Rage. These artifacts were needed for her to control whatever Terror lies beyond the closed gate that leads to the dark space. Crew faced her and her agent Kephess, where Nopar lost his life. Many crew members where downed. After Kephess' defeat it was discovered that he was a clone, a shell of what a true donator is. This explains why he had one of the best equipment now in possession of the Crew, because the clone was never skilled as the original donor, thus needed implants and weapons with programs. When the crew finally faced Dread Master Brontes, she reveals some secrets to the crew, and mentions words about Revan, giving a hint that he is still alive. Brontes turned Axo against the crew with the mind trick, and to stop him from healing the Brontes, padawan Barracudas struck down Axo with lightsaber, much harder and stronger than she intended, inflicting heavy injuries to his brain and arm, so that in order to survive he needed to be turned into a cyborg. With this struck, the padawan slayed the relationship between her and him, that they started to grew. Last standing on the field, Lin'drala and Fyria, defeated Brontes together, and after her shuttle crashed, there was no trace of the Dread Master anymore, most likely that she used Force Cloak to escape...

And now, Master Lin'drala temporarily left the crew to pursuit for the saving of her sister who fell to the dark side. Negative feelings rose between Axo and Barracudas, and Fyria is always there around add more to this fire. This echoed in the force, alerting a new Jedi Knight Ceviran, who stped in to replace duty of Captain Lin'drala. Now the crew of Vigilance Beacon is under lead of Captain Ceviran.

There is new captain of Vigilance Beacon - Ceviran.
She brought the crew on Dantooine mission, to discover
strange anomaly coming from the ruins nearby of the
former Jedi Academy. What lies deep under ground?

But Republic's scanners were not the only ones that
picked up strange signals coming from this system.
Treasure hunters, pirates, sith, and many other profit
and power hunger groups explore the planet as well.

Vigilance Beacon star ship entered the system, and
in the orbit of Dantooine is surrounded by many star ships,
divided in groups, but those of the Empire seem to be
in the higher number. They shoot at all other ...

PC Protagonist: Ceviran

STORY DIFFICULTY

Barracudas was flyine the ship. Seeing that they were going to reach the system of Dantooine she announced it to the rest of the crew. "We will leave hyperspace in a few minutes. I'm activating the stealth generator know, be prepared for anything. Captain requested to the brig."

Pirates are trying to survive heavy fire, they are being chased down by empire fighters and ships, and are greatly outnumbered. There is another faction in space that attacks both, the pirates and the empire, and while their number is not so great, their skill makes up with it. None of them detected the presence of Vigilance Beacon, yet.

Captain's Options:

1. Help Pirates
2. Help the Unknown
3. Help the Empire
4. Turn against them all
5. Proceed to Dantooine surface while you are in stealth
6. Free RP

"According from their IFF'S there are 3 different groups. I compared them to the Republic database. One of them comes back as wanted Pirates. While going from the design of the other group you can easily see that they're from the empire. The last group comes back negative." She says frowning. Looking to her co-pilot she asks his opinion. Axo can you identify them? My scanner doesn't seem to be able to..."

Axo looks back to Barracudas as he replies: "Performing clean scan will reveal our location to them. They will know they are being scanned and can track down the source. How do you wish me to proceed?" Axo leans back on his co-pilot seat, looking over his shoulder at the Captain while waiting for the orders.

Axo returns back in his co-piloting position. "Scanning aborted. We are undetected." Axo turns to Barracudas "All yours."

Vigilance Beacon enters the atmosphere of Dantooine, and moves in from the sky, followed by birds. The star ship lands behind ruins of the Jedi Academy, hidden behind walls and trees but also not so far from the detected anomaly, and the other ships that landed first. Vigilance Beacon is not alone here. From here the crew can proceed on foot. Captain can decide who to continue the mission from here.

H&T: Episode is designed for 4 crew members (including captain). Captain does not have to continue. If Captain decides to stay on ship, she should give the lead of mission (episode protagonist) to one of the 4 crew members that leave ship. If you bring more than 4 crew members (which is not forbidden), there will be no reward for bonus achievements at the end of episode. Available crew members: Ceviran, Fyria, Barracudas, Marinez, Blood'Gunner, Axo.

"Verrry well. I suppose we can play a game." Fyria uses the computer first to roll for a number. She waits for it to stop counting while her tail wags impatiently. All she needs is to not stay on ship with that obnoxious pink twi'lek padawan. When she finishes she moves away from the computer so that others can use it.

Axo uses the computer to roll for the number, obviously he'd like to join the mission. But he is not getting it how this has anything to do with the Force.

Marinez press the computer.

Blood'Gunner walks to the computer and press to see what she got

Exit on the Vigilance Beacon opens, and the crew can now proceed on foot. Ceviran, Fyria, Barracudas, Marinez and Blood'Gunner left the ship, while Axo remained behind to guard it. Ironically, the computer did not work out in his favor this time.

For exceeding the recommended number of players, there will be no bonus rewards. End of episode cannot exceed reward over 5000 credits and 5 story points and is only rewarded if mission is successfully finished.

Fyria moves in front line, stealthy, scouting the area. She moves with light steps, and every time she sees to be safe, she signals to the rest of the crew with hand that it is safe to follow.
