STARLIGHT Blood or Force (Episode 10)

Sicilia went to her own room to get herself ready. Putting on a full body suit that hugged her hourglass figure and kept her own body heat contained to prevent hypothermia and a balaclava that only revealed her eyes, which in turn were covered by her special glasses. Attaching 2 kolto bombs her sniper rifle, 2 guns, the hacking device and her stealth belt, she returned back to the holoroom.

"May the Force be with all of us." Satele walks towards the ship's exit and ignores the slide cables. She instead jumps out of the ship, landing on her foot deep in the snow. She makes first steps through the snow, leaving a trace for others to follow. (Force Jump 15 or 30% hp loss, using slide cables require no roll and is 100% safe).

Vanguard follows after Satele Shan, running. He grabs the slide cable and jumps after Satele. In mid fall he professionally attaches the slide cable for himself and slows down his fall until he gently touches the ground of the mountain. Once there he releases the cable to return to its original position. He grabs his gun and follows the Grand Master, seeking for any possible danger.

Oyo follows Barracudas just like she told him to, to her dress room where she was preparing ...

She gets ready and walks out again, seeing Oyo behind her she just lifts an eyebrow. Walking towards the ramp she attaches her belt on the slide cable and moves down releasing herself at the right time, she looks behind her towards Oyo, wanting to see what he would do.

Sicilia walks towards the ramp, moving past Oyo and takes one of the slide cables and glides down.

Oyo grabs the cable and looks down at the rest, then he looks at the cable "Hmmm ... not gonna risk it ... those cables could rip, it's better if I just jump down." Oyo let's go of the cable and jumps off the ship.

20vs15 success

Oyo flips in mid air once before he lands on his feet. When Oyo lands in the deep snow ... well at least it's deep for others, with his weight, a wave of snow rises from the ground into the faces of those who are near him. Oyo kneels up and gets rid of the snow from his armor, then looks back at Barracudas.

Barracudas looks around and sees they are not complete, looking up towards the ship she waits for their final member.

"Moving the ship to safe zone. If you need pickup send me your coordinates." Vigilance Beacon leaves the mountain dangerous weather.

The group moves on the mountain and finally locates the entrance to the cave from where Lin'drala's signal came from. When they enter inside, force users could sense the conflict in the force, as there was a duel in this area. The signature of the dark side appears to be familiar to Barracudas, and it suddenly triggers a memory, it was someone she already encountered on Tython:

< Sith Thief yells "Ha!" when she attacks from behind. Barracudas did not see it coming and before she could properly block the attack, it was already too late, the Sith Thief pushes Barracuda's lightsabers against her with her own, close enough to Barrcudas' skin, and when she inflicts enough energy damage, Barracudas loses her strength to hold her lightsabers. Sith Thief easily disarms her both lightsabers, each to its own side, before she force pushes Barracudas into the tree, where the padawan hits and falls down unconscious. Sith Thief makes slow steps towards defeated padawan to end her life, when suddenly more speeders arrive with troopers, shooting at the sith. She saw that she has no time, and continued running, deflecting the bolts from her away, with her red lightsabers. As she moves quickly, she disappears in the forest, and troopers are unable to spot her anymore. The Sith Thief and what she stole is now gone. Troopers pick up padawan Barracudas and take her back to med center, while the other troopers continue the search even if they are not able to find the thief. >

The memory flashback ends.

Barracudas moves her right hand to rub her forehead. Still not getting used to the visions she lately seems to have quiet often. "I recognizes this signature the one that was here before us was the same as the thief I tried to apprehend on Thyton when I was supposed to have my knighthood ceremony. I was beaten heavily that day. Be very alert, the figure in question is a remarkable stealth user."

"People who relay on stealth and backstabs are cowards. It's good that we don't have such in our team." Oyo comments.

Soon hostile armed people surround Barracuda's team, they roll out of cover, take their positions and point their weapons at Vigilance Beacon crew. It appears that they are pirates, and their leader, a chiss girl, approaches to the team: "What do we have here?" She looks at the each individual and when she sees Sicilia she smiles: "Ah by the my own ship's rear, you survived Dantooine crash, Siccy! (Sicilia) It's me! Wetty! (Wetth'esith'lomu). Oh I was searhcing for you three days and I could not find you on the crash site, I missed you so much I knew you found your way to survive." The pirates relax their hands and stop aiming at the crew.

"Pirates!" Jag aims his gun at one, then at another pirate, undicided to which one to focus on. When the Chiss girl approaches and speaks to Sicilia with a friendly tone, he ponders and looks at Sicilia, questioning her: "Friends of yours I take it?"

Sicilia looks around but takes no hostile action, reaching out to the sniper on her back would only give off the wrong message. "You can call them that." She whispers to him, quietly so only Jag can hear her. "Wetty!" She responds. "You went through all that effort just for me? What are you doing here?"

Barracudas chose to conveniently forget to tell Axo that both she, Sicilia and Ceviran could use stealth. Soon after the ambush she immediatly grabbed her lightsabers and moved them into a defensive stand, ready to deflect any incoming fire. "Oyo, you jinxed it." She could only frown on the friendly approach of what seemed to be the leader of the group towards Sicilia.

Wetty smiles happily to see that Siccy is well, she places one her hand on her hip while other with blaster pistol is relaxing, pointing towards the ground: "Yes, well we could not find much in the ruins of the Jedi, other people probably beat us to it, so we only stood long enough to search for you before we were low on resources ourselves and had to find a new job, which lead us here. We were able to trace a message from a helpless Jedi, we could not miss this chance for easy credits, can you imagine how much we could earn if we sell her back to Republic, or even more, to Sith? Finally our investment for Dantooine mission will not be for nothing. But what are you doing here?" Wetty rises eyebrow and looks at her ... strange crew. She obviously recognizes Satele Shan.
