STARLIGHT Lost Jedi (Episode 3)

The crew makes its way out of the landing zone and walks upstairs towards the Sith Academy. So far their profile is low. Once they enter the academy, they begin the search for Overseer Ragate. Some of the young acolytes were more than happy to help them find the way. Finally the crew finds themselves in front of Ragate's chamber.

The door opens, and in the center of the room the crew can see Ragate meditating in standing pose. She invites only one person inside, the one that rang, with her eyes still closed: "Dear Child, please come in, tell this old woman, how can she help."

Ragate opens her eyes and looks at the Lin up and down: "This is a pleasant surprise. Most of the young acolytes here avoid listening the babbling of the old woman such is me. What can I do for you? Would you like to set a foot into the spark of future? Or would you like to get only what you came for?"

Ragate raises eyebrow at the request of Lin'drala and wonders about her: "I must see first are you ready to follow these steps. Tell me the code you follow, the code of the sith, recite what you believe in."

Ragate smiles: "You studied well child. Perhaps you are indeed ready for the final test. You can have this token to show it to the guards of tomb of Marka Ragnos, and they will let you through." The old Lady extends her old hand, offering the token to Lin'drala. It seemed too easy to earn the token. Can Lin'drala's force sense detect anything unusual?

Seems that Lin'drala feels nothing wrong about how easy was to earn the token.

Ragate on purpose allows physical contact between Lin'drala and herself, and only now Lin'drala could feel that she is being under the effect of Precognition Force Power. The old woman taps into a vision and is about to discover some secrets of Lin'drala. Even if the phsyical contact would end, Ragate is a powerful seer, she only needed a single touch to establish connection. The only defense against this now is to force cloak self against the precognition, or to physically harm Ragate and break her concentration, before she finds out a truth.

Ragate was unable to tap into the true nature of Lin'drala. The Jedi Master was able to shield her alignment skillfully with the Force. Ragate was only able to see sparks of Lin'drala's future, without having any hint that Lin'drala is a jedi. She shares the words of her vision, considering Lin'drala to be a sith who hunts for more power: "Your destiny is difficult to read, but not impossible young child. The path you are after is cloaked with sand and only if you dig deep enough, you may reveal what the world with two suns has to offer. But you may not be the only one who wishes to claim the secrets of the dark side. Be careful where you dig, because there is female figure crawling the depths as we speak, as a spider in the darkness. If you avoid being caught in her web, then you will have opportunity to meet her, or to meet the shadow that was left of once her former self. I can sense your potential, and this is my help to you. The key to your success can be found at the end of the path hidden in the stone. That is all what I can see for certain. I can say no more. Goodbye young sith, good luck with your trials."

Door close behind Lin'drala as she exits, and Ragate returns to her meditation.

"It is good to see you still remember some of the things I taught you Lin, lead the way." Zemalia smiles at her and prepares herself to move on.

Tomb Guardians (x2): 40HP, 15AC, 15DC, 10DPS

And so the crew makes their way out of the Academy towards the tomb of Marka Ragnos. Once they arrive in front of the tomb's entrance, two guardians can be seen guarding the entrance. The force is with them but not as strong as in the sith, they can still be subject to mind affecting force. They are well armed and they see the group coming to them. They shield the entrance with their spears in X, and they ask for token.
